Living with Daisy the dog

If we get a dog there's going to be rules, no upstairs and no going on the sofa....

Seven years ago Daisy the dog joined our family and in that time she has well and truly got us wrapped around her little paw.Daisy. A border collie, she loves nothing better than going for a long walk over the fields near I live and making continuous sheepdog circular loops waiting for her beloved tennis ball to be flung.

Apparently besides being loyal companions, dogs are good for your health. They can lower blood pressure and reduce the risk of heart disease. They can also improve your mood and help you manage anxiety and stress. This depends what they are doing and anyone whos had a puppy teething may see it differently!

Dogs are pretty cool, dogs are curious and social animals. They are very playful and enjoy learning new things. They can be trained to do many things, and they can even excel in sports and competitions! There are many dogs who compete in agility competitions and doggy iron man competitions. Dogs are intelligent creatures who can be trained to do many different things. From finding a lost person, to finding drugs, and even assisting those with visual impairments, dogs can be very helpful and do amazing things!

We adopted Daisy as  a rescue pup and she is an amazing member of the family and gets me out from the studio with either a reminder that she is either ready for a treat or its time for a walk. When the weather is dry there is nothing better than a good break from work and going on a dog walk to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine, when its raining that's a different matter (why could I get a dog that hates walking in the rain?).
