"American Gothic Horror" Comic Pop Artwork

"American Gothic Horror"- Comic Pop Art Work

A twisted, slasher-cinema homage to Grant Wood’s iconic 1930 masterpiece American Gothic. This piece trades the solemn Iowa farmer and his daughter for two undisputed titans of 1980s horror: Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees. Complete with Freddy’s trademark fedora, striped knit sweater, and blood-tipped claw glove alongside Jason’s eerie, blank hockey mask, this print subverts classic Americana with sharp pop-art satire.

Technique:

Rendered in bold graphic line work, muted retro tones, and hand-lettered detailing, it makes an essential statement piece for horror aficionados, cult cinema collectors, and fans of subversive pop culture mashups.
