Welcome To Hell, ink sketch original. A4

This black and white ink noir with a splash of red is inspired by the 1973 film High Plains Drifter. This Indian ink illustration, stark in its black and white, punches you in the gut with a crimson pronouncement: "Welcome to Hell." And beyond that brazen foreground, there's Lago, a town lingering in the distance. Is it a siren call or a looming consequence? The starkness of the monochrome throws that violent red into sharp relief, a visceral warning that can't be ignored

Created with using Windsor & Newton Indian black ink on 210gsm Bristol Board canvas in A4 size.
