Obi-Wan Kenobi, your my only hope.

The new limited series dropped on Disney + today and I have just seen the first episode.

The Jedi Master contends with the consequences of his greatest defeat -- the downfall and corruption of his one-time friend and apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who turned to the dark side as evil Sith Lord Darth Vader.

It's great to see Mcgregor back as Obi Wan and the first episode provided a 5 minute reintroduction of the prequels which actually made them look quite good. However after rewatching the Phantom Menace last week, they are not (IMO)

It's 10 years after these events and a group of imperial inquisitors are hunting down the last of the Jedi, the three main villains of the piece are the inquisition made up of the grand inquisitor, the fifth brother and the third sister. The third sister played by Moses Ingram is ruthless (and has a personal grudge against the now assumed disappeared Obi-Wan) definitely channelling Samuel L Jackson. Hence, I'm guessing she is the daughter of windu?

I enjoyed the first episode definitely one of the better SW tv shows, I am yet to actually watch a complete series yet as I lose interest about halfway through. Although this is a limited series means they might know where they plan to finish the story and less padding is needed.

For me personally this needs to be an interesting and pretty special otherwise im probably done watching new SW shows, it's off to a pretty good start. Obi Wan your my only hope!
